Digital Conversions

Impact Recording Studios offers digital conversions of old audio and video file types to digital file types.

The file types that are currently able to be converted to digital are as follows:

• VHS

• VHS-C

• Casette Tapes

• 8 mm

• DVD

• mini-DVD

• CD

• Physical photos

Other file types may be accepted upon request.

​

Assets can be dropped off or picked up.

​

Standard rate is $20 per converted file regardless of size. Photos will run at $0.20 per photo. Assets can be delivered through an online service such as DropBox, Google Photos, etc. or can be delivered via USB flashdrive for an additional $10. (USB drive can be up to 32 GB, if more space is desired, we would do a custom order or a second drive).

Bulk Pricing is available at $17 per asset starting at 30 assets.

Converting old file types will always result in a loss of quality dependent on the condition of the asset. If the asset is damaged, the content will be damaged. Files such as VHS or Cassette deteriorate over time, resulting in skips, glitches, or other forms of quality loss in the digital conversion. Impact Recording Studios is not responsible if an asset is unable to be converted.
